Ramsports Adds Susannah Barr to Its Pro Roster

Ramsports is proud to welcome Susannah Barr as one of the newest professional players to join the Ramsports roster.

A highly accomplished competitor, experienced coach, and longtime ambassador for the sport, Susannah brings more than a decade of pickleball experience to Ramsports—along with an impressive record built across professional tours in the U.S. and internationally.

A Proven Competitor

Susannah is currently ranked Top 10 on the APP World Tour in both women’s and mixed doubles. Throughout her professional career, she has earned 60 medals on the APP Tour alone, making her the tour’s all-time leader in doubles medals. Her accomplishments extend beyond the APP Tour, with multiple PPA and international medals adding to her competitive résumé.

Her experience also includes team competition. During the 2023 Major League Pickleball season, Susannah captained the Chicago Slice to a Super Final victory. She now continues her leadership on court as a team captain for Champion Series Pickleball.

Behind those results is a player recognized for her pickleball IQ, positive attitude, and strong mental approach to competition—qualities that have shaped both her professional career and her work as a coach.

More Than a Decade in the Game

Susannah has been playing and teaching pickleball for more than 10 years, bringing the game to players across more than 30 states and internationally.

As a full-time touring professional and certified coach, her impact on the sport extends well beyond tournament competition. She serves as the head instructor for The Flying Pickle Academy YouTube channel and is the co-founder and National Pickleball Director of The Flying Pickle, a collection of indoor pickleball clubs.

Whether competing professionally or working with developing players, Susannah approaches the game with the same passion. Her coaching focuses on creating challenging and enjoyable on-court experiences while helping players of every level build their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game.

Beyond the Pickleball Court

Before building her career in pickleball, Susannah spent five years in the military as an Arabic linguist. She later spent 10 years working in higher education as a professor—a background that reflects the leadership, communication, and teaching experience she now brings to the pickleball community.

Away from competition and coaching, Susannah enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a proud mother to her 19-year-old son, who is beginning his journey at Boise State University.
