A Collaboration Between Shenzhen University X Lansbo Group and Dongguan Mingde Investment Development Co., Ltd

On January 20th, Shenzhen University’s Sports College teamed up with Lansbo Group and Dongguan Mingde Investment Development Co., Ltd. for an exciting pickleball teaching workshop and donation ceremony. 

The goal? To introduce more students to pickleball and make campus sports more diverse and fun.

The event brought together university leaders, faculty, and sports experts, including Lansbo Group President Alex K. Yuen and Lansbo’s brand ambassadors. So, the students and staff got a chance to learn about pickleball, see live demonstrations, and even try out the game themselves!

Why Pickleball is Perfect for Campus

Professor Tang Yucheng, Vice Dean of the Sports College, shared why Pickleball is a great fit for university sports programs:

“Pickleball is competitive but easy for everyone to join. It’s a great way to get more students involved and help them build their skills and confidence.”

Alex K. Yuen also highlighted pickleball’s rapid growth worldwide and how it can help students explore careers in coaching, refereeing, and sports event management.

The Highlight of the Ceremony

A generous donation happened, where Lansbo Group and Dongguan Mingde Investment Development Co., Ltd. gifted pickleball equipment to the university. These resources will be used for teaching, training, and campus activities, giving students plenty of opportunities to play and improve.

Overall, the faculty members and students agreed that Pickleball allows students to stay active, make friends, and enjoy healthy competition. By bringing Pickleball to campus, Shenzhen University is helping students discover a new sport, develop skills, and explore future opportunities in the growing world of pickleball.
